In 1974, Norman Foster directed the American horror film, The Deathhead Virgin. Jock Gaynor and Larry Ward not only starred in the film, but also produced it and wrote the story and screenplay (though actress Diane McBain would later express her strong disapproval of the script).

The plot
A treasure hunter who stumbles upon a sunken Spanish galleon off the coast of a Philippine island. Unbeknownst to him, the ship is guarded by a vengeful spirit – the ghost of an ancient Moro princess.
